A charity house funded by VNS students' donation was handed over during a ceremony held on May 30. 

Construction of the house costed 15 million dong and was fully funded by our students' cash donation. The house, which is the second funded by donation from VNS students, is located at 650/4/41 Điện Biên Phủ st. District 10, Hochiminh city and was constructed for Mrs. Mai Thị Mành's family, a poor family in need of decent housing. In addition, during the ceremony, VNS students also gave the family an electric fan and a tea set.

Donating money to build houses for poor families has been continued for several years among both faculty staff and students. This meaningful project will be developed further in the future in accordance to the Vietnamese tradition of helping each other, as we believe that by combining small contributions from each of us, together we can make a difference in others' lives.
