On July 1, 2008, graduation thesis defense was held for 2 VNS senior students, Ms. Kim Sang Sug and Ms. Jung Mi Hwa under the supervision of Faculty of Vietnamese studies Scientific Committee.  

 Ms. Kim Sang Sug and Ms. Jung Mi Hwa have completed graduation theses on Korean culture and teaching of Korean language under the guidance of Prof. Nguyen Van Hue and Ms. Chu Thi Quynh Giao, faculty staff members of the Faculty. Both students successfully defended their works in front of the committee and were given very high evaluation. Judging on the overall academic quality of the theses as well as the students' effort, the Scientific committee has finally decided to give both theses a high mark of 9.5 (out of 10).
