Preparatory course for University entrance exam 2008

In order to help examinees to improve their Vietnamese language skills for the upcoming University entrance exam (year 2008), Faculty of Vietnamese studies will organize a preparatory course as below:

1. Eligibility:

Students should have completed at least 100 class hours (equivalent to completion of VSL1 textbook by Dr. Nguyen Van Hue) and should have passed the entrance test for the prep course as follows:

Entrance test date: February 20, 2008
Entrance test fee: 50,000 VND/examinee
Registration deadline: no later than 5 p.m. Feb 19, 2008.

2. Course schedule:

Course period: March 3, 2008 to June 20, 2008 (16 weeks).
Class days: 5 days/week (from Monday to Friday).
Class hours: 2 class hours/day (1 class hour = 50 minutes); from 3:10 to 5PM (class A for students who have scored well in the entrance test for prep course). and 4 class hours/day (1 class hour = 50 minutes); from 1:10 to 5PM (class B, C).

3. Tuition fees:

Class A – equivalent to Intermediate level (152 class hours)

University entrance exam to be held for Bachelor program in Vietnamese studies University entrance exam for Bachelor program in Vietnamese studies will be held on July 1, 2008. Our faculty has recieved a total of 68 applications from Korean, Turkish, Turkmenistan and Japanese applicants. Bachelor program in Vietnamese studies commencing this year will welcome students of the 8th cohort of this undergraduate degree program offered by Faculty of Vietnamese studies.
