Vietnamese Studies Bachelor degree Conferment Ceremony for the 4th cohort students (2003-2007) was held at 9 a.m on Oct 13, 2007 at lecture hall A306 of University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hochiminh city).

There were in total 7 students who were recognized as "eligible to graduate" and thus conferred Bachelor degree by the President of University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Among them 1 student was classifed as "High distinction", 2 graduated with "Distinction" and 4 ranked "Fairly good".

According to Faculty of Vietnamese Studies' statistics, for the 4th intake (2003-2007), 22 out of 27 students passed the entrance examination, and the number of students who eventually started the program was 17. During the program, several students had to take a leave of absence due to military service or other reasons. In addition, during the 3rd semester (2nd year), the Faculty accepted 4 transfer students from Youngsan University (Korea). At the time of graduation eligibility screening, there were 5 students eligible to take graduation exam and 2 qualified for thesis writing. In total, there were 7 students eligible to graduate.

The above result implies the serious selection process during the 4-year Bachelor degree program, thus each and every student is required to make consistent effort in order to complete the program.
