The 2+2 Bachelor Degree Program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) – VNU-HCMC and the Pusan University of Foreign Studies (PUFS) officially came into being on Jan 13, 1997. Then, bilateral agreements on the Program structure and approvals of credits and degrees were made on Jan 25, 2002 when a representative of the PUFS visited the USSH.

The main purpose of the Program is to give students of the two universities a chance to practice and investigate their partner’s language and culture.

Annually, the PUFS sends a group of 10-15 Vietnamese Studies students to the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies of the USSH for further studies.
