In December 6th and 7th, 2011 at the university of social sciences and humanities, Ho Chi Minh city National University, specialists conducted the assessment on the quality of Bachelor training program in Vietnamese Studies under the criteria of AUN – QA. Vietnamese Studies is the first training program in USSH was chosen to be assessed this time.

In beginning of December 2011, a delegation of auditors from ASEAN University Network (AUN) came to VNS to work on the verification of its Program of Bachelor of Vietnamese Studies in accordance with the requirement of the standard details of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

From September 5th to 7th, new student orientation program was held in Binh Chau Hotspring. Participants are the Board of Directors, head teachers and freshmen. The Orientation program was designed to help freshmen to know well about academy program, the environment, regulations of the faculty as well as the university. This was also the chance for new students make acquaintance with head teachers and classmates.
